Awakening

Awakening is an infographic about a poem named "Awakening in New York", written by Maya Angelou. I chose to made the video from this poem is because I feel the words represent me and my peers' daily routine. I found it might be interesting to do this theme, and it actually was a fun progress.

Curtains forcing their will

against the wind,

children sleep, exchanging dreams with

seraphim. The city

drags itself awake on

subway straps; and I,

an alarm, awake as a

rumor of war

lie stretching into dawn

unasked and unheeded.
